CORE 4 leadership lab: GOD’S BIG PICTURE

This is a crash course in Biblical Theology and the storyline of the Bible. This lab will help you frame up the Bible to drop in anywhere and understand where you are in the grand storyline of Scripture.

Scope: 10 Weeks

This lab will help you understand why we trust the Bible, how to study it for yourself, and how to help others understand it as well.

Men’s equipping

Journey provides opportunities for the men of our church to develop together into authentic followers of Christ. These equipping environments are designed to walk through scripture and be released into the world.

* Wednesday Track: Wednesday Nights 6 PM

  • Leadership labs are 6-10 week courses with outside reading and some light work to have an investment in the lab. With a weekly 1 hour time to come together and hear further teaching and discussion around the topics the group is dividing into.

  • Equipping Courses take the follower of Jesus further into specific areas of growth. They are designed to move you further in your spiritual walk. They are a short-term intensive way to focus on specific topics.

  • Equipping courses are topic-specific and for unique life stages. For example: Marriage, Parenting, & How to Share Your Faith. Leadership labs are strategic courses for Journey Leaders to be further developed in their spiritual growth as they lead others in their walks with Jesus better to carry out the mission and vision of Journey Church.

  • Our Labs and Courses are not long-term and are focused on only one aspect of growth. Journey groups are where we invest in one another and walk through all the seasons of life together. Groups are Journey’s strategy to allow us to Get Closer, Grow Deeper, and Go Further together. Labs and Courses should not be substituted for investment in a Journey group but should be paired with your Journey group to grow deeper in your spiritual development.
