Make Journey Your Home

If you are new and want to call Journey Home, we want to get to know you and want you to get to know us! The best way you can do this is by joining us for Journey Basics, our membership class, held multiple times per year. Here you can learn about who we are, what we believe, and how you can get further connected to a Journey in groups and serving.

Why Consider joining the family?

Being part of a community of faith is a transformative experience, and we encourage you to consider becoming a member if you meet the following criteria:

 

COMMITTED ATTENDANCE

You have attended Journey Church consistently for at least three months. We value the commitment you've shown to our church body and want to extend the invitation for deeper involvement.

ENGAGED IN JOURNEY GROUPS

You have actively participated in Journey Groups. These small gatherings provide an opportunity to connect with fellow believers, study God's Word together, and support one another in our spiritual journeys.

A DESIRE TO SERVE AND INVEST

Membership is an opportunity to express your commitment to this community by serving and investing in the life of the church. By becoming a member, you can take an active leadership role in contributing to our church family.

CARE AND ACCOUNTABILITY

As a member, you open yourself up to care and accountability from the Pastors/Elders of Journey Church. This team is in place to teach, serve, and protect the church body.

VOTING PRIVILEGES

As a member, you have the privilege to vote on important decisions and financial decisions that impact the future of Journey Church. Membership gives you the opportunity to participate in shaping the direction of our church body.

Follow the Steps Below for Membership

  • Before becoming a member we want you to understand who we are which is why it’s important for you to immerse yourself in our culture and our teaching for at least 3 months.

  • Now you have a sense of who we are. This constitution contains the principles and guidelines that govern Journey Church. - READ THE JOURNEY CHURCH CONSTITUTION & BYLAWS

  • It’s helpful to complete this form before Journey Basics. - Memembership Application

  • Register for the next Journey Basics - REGISTER HERE.

  • In most cases, you will complete a membership interview immediately following your Journey Basics. This interview is an opportunity for face-to-face interaction for each individual to ensure full understanding and to discuss any questions you may have.

  • Once the Pastors/Elders have approved you, a staff member will let you know and officially welcome you to the Journey Church Family!
